The lowdown on showers?

Showers are $10. Solar showers with stall tents are allowed, as long as you have the room for it on your site.

Not that I ever used one... ;-)

That, along with baby wipes, is what we did. Very economical.

Ugh, well just hope they don't screw up the connections. One of the VIP showers I used last year had shower water so cold it literally took your breath away. It was tough to get through and kept the line moving, but did feel kind of refreshing once you were done and got back outside. The other one I took, in a different spot, was a nicer looking unit overall. Problem there was the stall I was in had something (ew, what??!) clogging up the drain, so I was standing in 2" of water the whole time. I'm grossed out just thinking about it now. I don't know for sure that incident led to the terrible case of salmonella I came down with once I got home, but I don't discount it.

HAHAHAHAAA!!! Point taken. I ended up getting something stuck under the skin in my toe from walking in my flip flops - bad enough to have to get the medic to dig it out (holy hell pain). So I may have had a compromised big toe. But if it was from the licking, at least one other person should have gotten sick, too.

included as in free,  or included as in they let you use the nice ones for a fee?

If the same company is doing the maintenance at lockin that does roo then the showers should in great shape.

I don't remember any streams. But I did successfully wash my long hair under a spigot in the sink truck last year. Between that and baby wipes, I was in good shape.

It's like a water tanker that has sinks attached to the side.

Actually it was more of a box truck with a big trough-like sink going down each side inside the box.  I found one not too far from our spot in car camping 2 last year.  Running water is a glorious thing!

Are the car camping sites big enough for a shower tent ?
