The no alcohol rule does apply to the campground. You will see multiple signs on the way in to that effect. I have never been searched, or seen anyone searched, but as long as you pack expecting at least a light search you will be fine. There is no one policing or enforcing this rule in the campgrounds. They do have Chugpoint Charlie's on each side of the main show field but that's to be expected. I don't know that I've seen bagged ice for sale but I've never needed it. Maybe one of the car campers can answer.

C'mon and go VIP with the rest of us. It's not that much more money.

Usually I've had zero problems with alcohol but did have a bottle of vodka confiscated last year, admittedly it was not hidden at all. The chick almost looked disappointed she was taking it, I wasn't gonna put up much of a stink cause they said absolutely nothing about all the beer.

That being said some forum friends came in clutch and I had my bloody the next morning.

Now, I will make a small attempt to conceal the hard liquor in the future.

so I'm familiar with Tauk and Yarn-what is Tauk Moore and Dire Yarn?

Tauk Moore is Tauk featuring Kanika Moore, who you may know from Doom flamingo on vocals.

Yarn does a tribute set to close out the festival on Sunday. This year the tribute is to Dire straits. Been some great ones in the past most notably "The last Yaltz" and "Yarn Morrison" from what I've seen.

I scored a premium camping pass for below face! Now I have a VIP parking pass to get rid of. Figured I'd check with y'all before putting it up on cash or trade, lmk if anyone needs it.

Will our camping area be fairly level? Shade or sun?

If you want right by your car you will probably be in the sun. But there is a sloped wooded area if you require shade, can't drive there though. That's where Fluffhead camps alot
