Hoping for the best. I realize the promoters were kind of over a barrel with the last minute cancellation and I understand the wish to keep it in the family. Just sort of expecting something sounding sloppy and unrehearsed.
Although if we are being honest, sounding sloppy and unrehearsed (at times) is part of the Grateful Dead legacy too.
Oh, and if it is dubstep or some other kind of shitty EDM I'm gonna be pissed.

Grace is playing Cincinnati Riverfront Festival on Saturday the 6th. Don't think she is going to go Arrington-Cincinnati-Arrington

EDM stands for Electronic Dance Music.
Dubstep is the worst of all the EDM styles. If computers could be mentally handicapped and make music, they would produce dubstep.

BK3 - Billy, Scott Murawski, & Oteil
Other possible musicians in various configurations or added to the ensembles above
Bass - Reed Mathis, James Hutchinson, Pete Sears, George Porter Jr.
Guitar - Steve Kimock, Paul Barrere, David Nelson, Neil Casal, JK
Keys - Mookie Siegel, Bruce Hornsby, Bill Payne, Jackie Green, Jeff Chimenti
Vox - Chris Robinson, Joan Osborne
Look, the delay in announcing the "Allstars" is not because of some contracting issue- Billy K either hasn't a clue yet who they will be, or the names are not impressive and Lockn deliberately decided not to announce. I suspect its the latter. Trust me, Lockn wanted to announce something big today- if they had big allstars to announce, they would have been announced.

I sure hope so! I mean I don't think with all those talented musicians on the rest of the lineup that Dave Frey would allow nothing but "all-stars" on that stage. Also a thought, could this into Phil n Friends set open up the first ever Locked sets at Lockn. I was under the impression last year that since stages were side by side that at some point one band on the Oak Stage would start a riff and throw it over to the Ridge Stage and band B would play riff and jam for a bit and B

One band plays their set, finishes, and within a minute or so another band is playing on the other stage.

I know, I'm saying I was under that impression before last year that at some point two bands would "Lockn" up and jam as a transition between stages. I mean would that not be the Ultimate goal here.
