Rage Sticks Yes or No?

I'm not totally sure what rage sticks are, but I sure hope glow sticks are permitted.

I'm all in favor of the rage stick, except DURING shows. Take em down! No matter what you think/ how tall they always mess up someone's view. If your lost friend calls/ txts sure, raise it for a minute. But people are there to see the show, not your 16' tall glowing monkey.

I've been in Babylon too long...when did this stuff start? If there's one (or more) of these things obstructing my view, I'm not gonna be a happy camper.

Apparently I'm the only one that likes rage sticks - but only when they are super awesome and used appropriately.

I've been to venues that wouldn't let them in, before. Which kind of sucked for me since security didn't understand the difference between a rage stick and my contact staff.

I don't mind them at all, adds flavor to the fest. I'm hardly ever looking at the stage anyways while I'm dancing.

I agree, I think they are colorful, exciting, funky and probably look way cool from the performer's point of view. 

It's like anything else though - they can be totally annoying if annoying people have them. 

It's OK to stand mid-crowd waving a 15ft tall rasta banana.  If you made a sign to go with a certain song, it's fine to make your way up front and hold it up for a sec.  It is NOT cool to hold up your sign, flag, stick, or whatever right in someone's face all night. 

All it takes to do it right is human decency and a smidge of situational awareness.  Of course, those are usually the first two things to go in these situations, hence the problems.

"rage sticks",sorry, I hate the term, can be alright at times, but the nonsense of throwing glowsticks has got to stop. Please don't add to the landfills.
