I had a very cool shirt with a sketch of Frank Zappa on it in High school, when you folded it over it said "Fuck You". I never wore it because it was so cool.... One day it was folded over just right in my drawer and my mom found it. Poof, it disappeared. See why I'm a recovering Catholic?

Who told you this?Was told you have to get the GA Alum to get the VIP Alum to get the SVIP Alum....that's bull$hit! 
You can buy a discounted 'lumni GA ticket, and then upgrade to VIP when
those go on sale. The Lumni discount amount difference from the regular
GA Tier 1 ticket price will be applied to any requested upgrades to VIP.Name redacted to protect the innocent

They:
1) Didn't know about the GA sale
2) Said that as a VIP or SVIP alum you should NOT have to get the GA Alum ticket.
No 2 (pun intended) is how I've been dealing with Lockn / CID / music today....nobody know.
However, CID (Carla) did say she would look into this and get back to me.
So as of now...I really only have what the Lockn person presented - as I have not heard back from them after my response:

(I sent this Sept 19th ...as a follow up to their response - and have not heard back - so I called CID)
Again with making things NOT easy for the customer.
I never understand why, when I want to GIVE a business money...they make

And please copy your manager on this email, or forward it to them so they
may respond.
I've had so many folks have mis-information when dealing with Lockn /CID /

Last year VIP from CID went on sale November 9th or 10th I believe. No upgrading from GA required.

Just got a reminder email for the lumni tickets, says "These ticket purchasers will have access to the Lockn' Lounge tent on the Main Field - cash bar, great shade, great view of the main stages, limited capacity."
Was there a Lockn Lounge tent on the field this year or is that something new?

placed my order a bit ago. i made sure to pay the extra for UPS shipping. i figure the extra $10 will afford me some peace of mind next august. i guess there's nothing to do now but wait and look forward to artist announcements!

This is what happens when your out of the loop, which I have been since I got home. Haven't been on line or in my e-mail but had the code to buy lumni tickets. Almost forgot until just a hour ago & saw you could upgrade when VIP/SVIP went on sale. When I went back to my e-mail to see if I got the return e-mail when I saw the CID e-mail that said to hold off. That's what I get for being out of it. But after contacting them they said no problem it will all be OK. Well anyway I'm in for next year & can't wait for another meet up.Yeah. Just got one too.

I'm not complaining. I came in late and yall already had the time set. I just had heard great things about the band playing then and had never seen them so I had to check it out.

So awesome to see they are doing this again this year. A lot of festivals do a (very) limited run of "early bird" tickets that are available to the public, so I find it refreshing to find a festival that values my loyalty. I love that they give us nearly a month to get our shit together and buy a ticket. I'll be buying at least one in the beginning of October.
Alumni T-shirt is a must. If they don't do it, we will.
