Start freezing plastic bottles of water--two sets. This means lots of gin and tonic for the next 4 weeks.

One set for packing your Lockn coolers, and supplying cold drinking water as they melt down.

Another set to put in your coolers a few hours before you pack to cool them down--leave those ones at home. If you dump them, do so on the plants and not down the drain, please.

I usually pack one cooler with just ice packs (blue or water) and top that one with dry ice, leave sealed until day 3.

Also always put a layer of newspaper on top of and inside the cooler.

I put a 10+ year old 10' x 10' EZ up (in fair condition) at the curb a month ago as we bought a 8' x 16' we that works a lot better for us and fits on an RV spot. It was gone in less than 10 minutes. thelizard pulled out the Pop-up last week to check everything out and e're busy getting our stuff together. Excitement builds daily. This is the highlight of the year for us. What does that tell you about this old couple? Can't wait to see you all there! We'll be in ADA RV and welcome any of you to stop by, have a beer, and share stories of festivals of the past. Look for our flag.

Don't bother with a 10X10 slant leg. The top is only 8X8 so you only get 64 sq ft of shade. Look around and find a straight leg 10X10, you get 100 sq feet of shade. Believe me, that 1/3 more shade difference is HYYYOOOOOGE!

I got one of these this year mostly for the kid at swim meets (I stand in the sun for the duration) to replace my 10-year old 10x10 slant leg pop up. Lockn' is pretty much the only time I get to sit under my pop up. She loves it and I am looking forward to using it.

Pretty confident we can fit it on the RV site along with the pop-up, but not with the pop-up's canopy deployed. But that's okay, with that, we don't need no stinkin' canopy. It's more stable than the canopy anyway (the far end is held up with poles and tie lines).

know they're still available. We couldn't find a second one a couple years ago.
