I have it on good authority that a lot of the police presence, including the heavy searches early, was due to concerns arising from attacks in London and Spain, etc. Not entirely the purpose, but a large part. Inside, they were around but generally left people alone, other than dealers. With all those dogs passing by all those vehicles (as well as stashes dumped out in the driveway) there is no doubt they were not searching for small quantities. They always do a few rough searches early. Then the word gets out. Then it's over and done with. So best not to let it bother you, especially if you are not at risk. I'm inclined to say definitely but I gotta admit I'm a little nervous about the growing police prescence.(granted it wasn't an issue in VIP, and also I'm sober, but still I just don't like seeing them). Though I suspect it's just the new world we live in, and I do love Lockn, who am I kidding, put Mr and Mrs Gator on there. Also, I will be at the meet n Greet this time, my anxiety is not gonna keep isolating me.

I'm still feeling the Lockn Love, but I have to be honest, I think #5 will be my last one. It was a great time, but was a lot of work due to my mobility issues. I think smaller fests closer to home will be the norm for a while. Of course if things change, I'm there!!

I can see how the layout this year would present additional challenges for ADA patrons. ADA was definitely farther away this year and there was uneven terrain between camping and the entrance and even while you are inside. I think the setup for ADA was best last year where the camping and the venue were both level. Hope to see you at Lockn next year but completely understand if you make other choices..I'm still feeling the Lockn Love, but I have to be honest, I think #5 will be my last one. I know y'all don't know me but I'm never missing this festival ever. And a HUGE thank you to this board and all who run it and contribute. My friends and I were so prepared and ready because of the information provided on here. I'll be rocking lockn every summer. Maybe I'll even do the meet up next year.

I think the terrain and access will be improved. But the nature of an outdoor event on a farm will always present issues. Hope it works out for you!
