I heard this was coming and I hope they make it, although it looks shaky from the start.
One thing hurting the business, I read recently, is that the market is being flooded by guitar collections from rock musicians (and peripherals) with great vintage and recent instruments being dumped on the market.
I blame it on EDM although that may be the symptom and not the disease.

If there were more musicians willing to trash their equipment on stage perhaps Gibson would be doing better.
