Confirming yet again that "hiatus" does not necessarily mean "broken up," Cabinet released a semi-cryptic message on Facebook earlier today:
The "get down" reference is pretty definitely to Grateful Getdown, a small PA fest that weekend from the same folks who produce A Bear's Picnic. While this is still technically speculative, I happened to see where their #1 Fan just booked a hotel near Biglerville PA where the fest is held, so I'd stake my reputation on it.
Cabinet will probably be the headliner (although Pink Talking Fish may show up again; they haven't missed one yet), so yes, this is a small fest, but for any of you that love Cabinet he way we do, we'd love to have you there. It's sorta near Gettyburg, so it's barely even within PA. BYOB, of course, has its charms as well. Just wanted to give y'all as big of a heads up as possible.
