The Great 'Touch of Grey' Debate

Great article. Has a good discussion about the "Touch Heads". Also nails the "Compare and contrast JRAD and DSO" essay question.

I have a hard time with the song because I hate what it stands for, and its whole commercial manufactured tone, but damn it’s a good fun song with great lyrics. I guess someone else should have done it.

It has always been a second tier song for me, primarily because of the radio overplay. However, seeing D&C's first show in Raleigh, coming out of COVID, it was the opener and didn't leave many dry eyes in the house. If it was only made for that night, it was worth it.

As for the Dead will outlast the Dead discussion, there is a boat precedence. Wooden boats more than 80-100yrs old rarely have any original parts left. Each board gets old and then replaced, but the boat's spirit remains and is considered the same boat.
