G/F just got a Galaxy 5....very nice pics! I do get some great shots and some 1-2 minute videos. (this reminds me...I have to clear off the phone!) So - what do you use?

Nikon d3000. Hoping to get some great pics at this fest. Anyone know what the front of the stage is like? Crazy difficult to weasel in for pictures? All Good was super sweet. I used to be able to come right in from stage right and get super pics. Hoping the front isn't a huge log jam of people for this fest.

Early in the day you should be able to get pretty close and have room. Last year we were about 20 feet back for the Black Crowes both days. Got too crowded for my tastes around dusk. Prefer finding a spot with room to move, which works well here as that seemed to be about the right distance back to see the other stage well enough.
