I have a lot of fond memories listening to the Allman Brothers back in the early day's and this video really brought me back. I was 16 when I first heard Fillmore East, and Eat A Peach was one of my first eight tracks when I was 17.
So sad that they are playing their last gig at this very moment. Thankfully I got to see them at Wanee in April, and Lockn' in September, ...but I sure wish I was in NY right now..

I was hooked from that point forward. Sure would have been sweet to have been in NY last night.

I have been thoroughly enjoying the book about the ABB called "One Way Out" and its cool format--all series of quotations,
little narrative. Although it has always been my favorite band, and L@FE th ebest album ever, this book has me focusing more
on music quality than just "sounds great" or great memory associations--and also explains why the are so great.

But with the rough performance they struggled through at Lockn, it's time, my brothers, it's time.
