Talk about Concert Events You Attend -

I just got a ticket to see Rush in Columbus, and a ticket to everyone's favorite band on this board Wilco!, in Cincinnati!

Lotus and Kung Fu tomorrow night - never listened to either but a friend recommended them and is taking me so I will review Thursday Morning.

Anders Osborne w/ Sonny Landreth Friday evening - really excited about this two great guitarists in one room. Can't wait.

I would say chose poorly but that's just because I like seeing the Motet.

I've been a little distracted but I saw Kung fu / lotus on Wednesday and it was really good. It was on a Wednesday night where I had work and a ton to do so I kind if had to drag myself there but I enjoyed both of them.

Anders Osborne w/ Sonny Landreth was awesome. Started a little slow with some mardi gras songs but picked up after the first few dogs and was great. Really hoping Anders gets added to the lockn lineup this year.

Hoping the weather holds out to see Trongone band and Dead 27s in Richmond on friday. If not maybe North Mississippi Allstars on Saturday. Neither do I love so much to buy tix with the potential for freezinh rain.

Dead 27s and the Trongine band tonight in Richmond at The Camel. This is a new venue for me. Moving puts more music within a driveable distance :-)

The Camel reminds me of bars in college, except none of them served food unless it came in a plastic bag.

Saw Ben Miller Band at The Camel. Fun, lots of.  Now the band is coming back, but playing at the National.  Fun, but less of.

I saw Heart at Universal Studios Mardi Gras... A pale shadow of their former selves, but The Girls still had a few sparks of ass kicking left. Mostly it was a greatest hits thing though.

Saw Atlas Road Crew and BYOG at the Visulite in charlotte on Saturday. They popped up on my Bands in Town app for $10 dollars so why not? ARC came on first, they describe themselves as "southeastern rock" and kinda have a black crowes feel to them. Singer was solid and the lead guitarist was on fire. Finished with a good times bad times zep cover and earned their encore chant. After they finished they helped byog make a quick change, and byog came out with a couple long jams and quickly got everyone back on their feet. We had to leave a little earlier than I wanted but all in all, I recommend both of these bands, both put on very energetic fun shows and both have a bright future

Saw him open for Grace Potter. He was OK, nothing special.
