I thought this group of Friends jelled much better than the ones at Lockn. Keller's singing was grate but you could hardly hear his guitar. At one point there were six guitarists on stage, John K was to the right of Keller so he is not in the pic below. Ross James was a surprise guest and really rocked the house.

Who's seen TTB in a non-festival setting? Is there a lot scene or anything?

I went to 8 grateful dead shows in a span of two weeks in buffalo, NJ, RFk, then Deer Creek...I would say that they were a LOT of fun.

Were there more than a dozen people dancing? At the Van Duzer there were only 10 of us and everyone sat there like it was the symphony. Show started at 8:15 pm and by 9:45 I had to pee but was waiting for set break. Then when set break came someone yelled encore and I figured out what was really happening. They played one more and we were out by 10. It cost $79.
When Melvin JGB played at the brewery all three nights were over 3 hours of music with an hour set break for 35 bucks a night. And there were only about 10 people that didn't shake their bones. Same with LOS at the Arcata Theater Lounge for 25 dollars. And Mule rocked The Van Duzer for almost 3 hours for $35.
TTB is great and yes I would pay that much to see them again but I think they should play longer with a set break.
