You know it's actually interesting how that non-green M&M was worked into Van Halen's concert agreements. Basically, around the time of their touring in the 70's they were playing venues that may pose a risk based on the amount of equipment could actually handle. As a result, there were a lot of concerns about safety/space and so on. In order to ensure that the concert promoters/staff were actually reading the entire contact and fulfilling their obligations, one could look at the bowl of M&Ms and if there were (whichever) color still there, there was doubt about what else they had overlooked.
