What's everyone doing for Nye? Anyone else doing Widespread in charlotte? Also anyone around Raleigh with no plans should check out Big Something with Big Daddy Love at the Lincoln Theater! That will be one hell of a show

It was a toss up between Panic and JJ Grey locally in Orlando. Orlando won out mostly because I don't want to travel very far this year.

The nicest thing about Cabinet playing on the 29th and 30th is we get to stay in on Amateur Night. Be careful out there, folks.
Also, this will be the second year we're going to pop a cork and cage beer at midnight, rather than champagne. I've noticed in the past things can get pretty bendy when one drinks bubbly on top of a lot of other stuff, and I do NOT need another multiple-day hangover.

I've been a fan of Big Daddy Love for a while now but I just started getting into Big Something and they are fucking awesome. I could see them on shakedown at lockn in a few years.

You should check out The Big What? this summer. Big Somethings fest and BDL plays it. Turns out we will not be having a cork and cage beer after all, as we scored some Dogfish Head American Beauty, and it doesn't come that way.

Had some American Beauty this past weekend.
I've never had it. I'm not paying $90 for a case, and it disappears from bottle shop shelves licketty split. I got the last two where I was.
How is it? Specifically, does the granola make it too sweet?

I didn't find the granola to be over the top with swwetness. Nice round oatmeal taste for a pale with some nuttiness. But I had been drinking already so...

I'm sure it's been said elsewhere but Wsp absolutely killed it on NYE! I was one back from the rail for the whole show, they broke out lean on me and use me, and capped it with a sick I get by and I'm sure Joe Cocker was smiling down on it. What a night
