MY BIL went to both and commented that the over-40 crowd was about 10% at 'roo and I'd say at least 50% at Lockn.

Bonnaroo circa 2002-2005 I would think about it but Lockn would win out. Bonnaroo 2015 not a chance

I'll be doing both this year. Been to the last 3 Roos, I wanted to come to this last year but it's just now working out.

Third Lockn, third Roo, second Floyd for me this year.

2015 will mark my 3rd appearance at Lockn', but my 11th at Bonnaroo.
I go to each festival for different things. I enjoy a lot of "jambands," but I like a wide variety of other genres as well. I go to Lockn' for the former and Bonnaroo for the latter. Both are awesome.

Dylan, if you haven't been to Electric Forest Festival you should try it, maybe next year since it's sold out. A old guy like me & I had a great time in 2011. It was my first time around a lot of this electric DJ type of music. But they had a nice mix of everything in a smaller venue. Really enjoyed myself & you can lose yourself in the forest. Also the first I got a good dose of SCI.

I am really, really intrigued by Electric Forest. I've heard nothing but good things. However, I'm not so keen on the EDM scene, which dominates their undercard.
. . . and as long as you're still going to festivals like Lockn' and Electric Forest, you aren't old in my book.

Jazz Fest is ridiculously packed, hot as hell, has major top-tiered conflicts and is over by sundown.
However, the late night shows are out of this world and the food is the best of the festival scene. Plus, being able to basically by a case full of beer with ice and take it back to your spot (if you can get back to it) was awesome.

But those awesome late night shows are all extra tickets to buy.
