can you expand on your statement? i really appreciated the fact that there weren't any police inside the venue and that the horse security were just hired hands. i'd really like to know exactly what you've heard that may be different this year

Be discreet, be discreet, BE DISCREET. Mostly when your in the venue. I think it goes without saying that they would have more presence. They will have their copmobile ready. I'm there mainly for the music so I think I can help Dave out by giving them nothing to use.

I don't know that it can be much more than an increased ABC presence. If I know my Fourth Amendment (and I don't), the festival venue is private property, so the Local Yokels, County Mounties and Statey Bears can't even come in without an invitation, a warrant or probable cause. By virtue of serving alcohol in the first place, it's implied that ABC LEOs are invited, but I wouldn't get too concerned about any other kind.
Just another reason they should free the beer.

ATF is leading the task force. with reps from various agencies. Supposedly the focus is going to be on the "beer garden" area. Inside the gate. Where ever there alcohol sales they will have right of way. camping area presence was not mentioned

These days I wouldnt be surprised if this is true, but I agree with everybody... Have a great time but be discreet, and keep an eye on the man just as he would keep an eye on you. We can all report back here after the festival with any observations and experiences. Hopefully there will be none.

In VA "they"(Any LEO agency) can be dressed as ABC officials. Simply by having a seat at the ATF task force table. Like sub contracting manpower among agencies.

I always wear a black wristbaf witb avatar on it. I use it to hide the RFID bracelet plus I lined it with tin foil. So come say hi of nanu nanu or resistance is futile
