Going back again this weekend with my youngest son to see the Pink Floyd Experience. I have seen a good number of shows here over the past couple of years...Phil and Friends about 10 times, Furthur, Wilco, Midnight Ramble Band, and Death Cab for Cutie. Personally speaking I love the venue. The sound, lights, and sight lines are spectacular. Great restaurants within walking distance and less than an hour and a half from my house. Anybody else been to the Cap?
Also, it's pretty clear that Shapiro either works with many of the bands to either play at Lockn after they have played at his theater, or to play at his theater after they have played Lockn. With this in mind upcoming shows include Govt Mule, Melvin Seals, Jeff Beck, Winwood, Krutzman, JRAD, North Mississippi All-Stars w/ Anders Osborne, Los Lobos, Trigger Hippy, DSO, The Wailers, and Larry Campbell/Teresa Williams. I would predict that a number of these bands will be coming to Lockn this year.
