Vibes lineup

I would love to see NRPS and DSO at Lockn.

It's got a REALLY strong undercard. The lineup as it stands is good. You take out Weezer, and it's quite good. You take out Weezer and add Gov't Mule, or Phil & Friends, or Weir, or Haynes & Railroad Earth, or Little Feat, or Taj Mahal, etc. and this is probably the best lineup announced thus far. Weezer is a VERY strange get. You look at the rest of the lineup and you look at the clientele you attract and I'd say it's safe to say 9 out of 10 festival goers have NO interest in seeing Weezer at all. Granted I'd say 5 out of 10 probably have no interest in seeing Wilco, but Wilco are a solid band that do actually jam out their songs and are more in the alt/country/rock/folk realm, whereas Weezer is nostalgic pop rock from the 90's. I mean I was a kid in the 90's so the blue album was worn out when I was a kid, and if a song comes on from that album I'll smile and be nostalgic and what not. But all their material from the past decade is complete garbage. The blue album was pop, yes, but at least the lyrics were decent and the song structure was interesting. Recent weezer sounds like some pop star like kesha wrote the lyrics. I don't understand what Vibes was thinking. You put in a solid jam act in place of them and you have a lineup envying Vibes.

yep, them Greensky, and Greg Allman would be cool.

Nothing about the vibes lineup excites me. I think Peach and Mountain Jam are both better.

I dont have any interest i NRPS at Lockn. Seen them twice in the past 1.5 years. On their better show they were decent but not great. The other show they were bad--zero energy at all.
