Great list there. This is the 50th anniversary of Alice's Restaurant so Arlo might be interesting. I saw him a couple years ago and while I loved the songs and most of the stories, he has a bit of an attitude, too, that was a little chilling. Marty Stewart's recent album (2 CD's) Saturday Night/Sunday Morning is great. Rowdy tunes on Saturday and gospellish on Sunday. I always liked Don Williams and he was very well respected when he was popular in the 70's. I felt like there was more to him than most when he sang, "Those Williams boys still mean a lot to me: Hank and Tennessee". Gregg is coming to VaBeach this spring Seldom Scene--of course. Also Tab. I meant no offense.
Wasn't a HER decision or ME decision, it was an US decision. So, yeah, probably puts that out for next year. Next year is time for a game at my alma mater, which is local, so...Hmm... ask her if that applies to homecomings at her alma mater too. 
Also: cats, people. OK, I happen to know that southernman is deathly allergic, but for the rest of you they really fill that spot left by grown kids, past dogs, past other CATS, or (in our case) the kids you never had. And they practically take care of themselves. We just leave them with an autofeeder for weekend trips and have a friend come over and feed, water and scoop for longer ones.

My main reason for being a cat person. Dogs are like having children....lots of care & attention required. Our girls are grown and our last cat died a couple years ago. Love them all, but am enjoying the freedom. It's the first time in 30+ years without pets. Will probably get a pet again at some point after we settle down. Thanks dool, gonna have to hit some of these up. Here are the new shows that were announced yesterday for the Harvester in Rocky Mount, VA. About 500 seats and incredible acoustics:

I'm considering Mountain Jam in Hunter NY. June 2-5. A Warren Haynes affair I'm told. No line up yet however if past years are any indicator it could be sweet. Maybe a little chilly for camping in early June but relatively close to home for me.

I'm considering Mountain Jam in Hunter NY. June 2-5. A Warren Haynes affair I'm told. No line up yet however if past years are any indicator it could be sweet. Maybe a little chilly for camping in early June but relatively close to home for me.
Watched the streams of Dark Side of the Mule and Lake Street Dive from there last year. Became an instant fan of LSD.

I saw the Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson Thick as a Brick tour a few years ago. It was Ian Anderson and a good backing band. He sings the "talking" parts quite well and has a young guy that sings the "singing" parts that is very good. It was all of Thick as a Brick and then new music based off of TaaB. Was cool to see but not all that wow. They do have Jethro Tull tickets going on sale soon. Does anybody know what the advertisement "written & performed bu Ian Anderson" means?

I went without permission to Montreal when I was a teenager to see Jethro Tull in 1970. You could cross the border without a problem at that time.
