Seems a little silly in the age of satellite radio, but XPN plays nothing but the Dead for one day a year. For those that don't know, they're a public radio station from Philly that started as Penn's college radio. They have an Adult Alternative format (popular music? on public radio?!) and are where World Cafe originates from. They still play the Grateful Dead hour every week, as well as their own show called "JamNation." Used to be my only Dead fix in the years before streaming audio was ubiquitous.
So if you don't have Sirius/XM or you just wanna check it out (it'll be pretty well curated, though possibly high on Spectrum shows), the details are below. Starts tomorrow at 6AM.
