Awesome! See you at Barefoot! here's the low-down on CB> There are actually 4 stages. Two stages are side by side in the main concert field inn what I refer to as the All Good Model. They are not identical like the Lockn stages but close enough. This is where all the headliners play naturally. There is a third stage up the hill thru camping in a little side valley that may be my favorite. great shows from mid size bands like BIG Something, Consider the Source, Murphy's Kids etc. The fourth stage is out in the parking field. Smaller bands only on that one. It is there so that while you are parking, getting your stuff out, waiting for the trolley to haul your stuff, waiting for your friend to get back so you can load the other half of your stuff, you can have a band to listen to. Actually a cool idea and I have never seen a band play on that stage.

So, yes there are some conflicts between the continuous music on the 2 main stages and the third stage but not that big a deal. One of the reasons there are so many band other than the number of stages is that they play LATE into the night.

well since the cell phone system blocked all calls for the three days, that was the only way to reach management, that or carrier pigeon.

I'm interested in seeing what they change this year as I'm still a bit bummed that they're doing away with preferred tent. That was ideal for us.

CID told me they aren't having it, but maybe they're just expanding the tent-only area. We'll just have to get there earlier I guess. As long as we can get relatively close to the parking area and Oak-Ridge stages we'll be ok. We don't pack lightly....definitely not back packers.

Did this last year. It is a hike back, albeit one that isn't too bad. I generally made one trip back during the day, on a set I was okay to miss. Unfortunately, that was Wilco both days. But the added shade, in my opinion, was well worth it. I was able to sleep later into the day than some of the people I talked to. Also, some of the car camping spots were just as far of a walk as ours was, it just depended on when they got there.
