Lockn' camping and venue layout

I reckon you're right about staying near the stages. I think I'll probably just spend the money and thank myself later. But just for my peace of mind.... over or under 20 minutes walk to the main stages from the woods?

Dont forget you can bring a bike. If thats your thing. I was camped close to main stages last year but my bike came in handy for going to triangle stage.

Id say 20 min walk is a good guess from forest camping

Thanks for the insight, all. I've read elsewhere that they did indeed reconfigure this year to make everything closer. 20 minutes seems doable, and this will be my last festival of the season, so I think I'll treat myself SVIP is a bit out of my range, but an extra $100 for some shade is doable. I'm moving out to Shenandoah for a seasonal botany job in the National Park, and I was ecstatic when I realized how great the summer music festival scene is in the region. Floydfest, Camp Barefoot, All Good, and Lockn' will be the grand finale!

I'll do same. Really would love being as close as in 2013. That 35 foot hike to beer was pretty awesome. :-D

First world problems.

2013 was an amazing set up. i could have thrown a baseball to the Oak Ridge sign in the bowl from my RV. I fear those days are gone for us mere VIP RV.

Agreed. Last year was a vast improvement.

True enough. It took them almost an hour to bring me a bag of ice!

By the time they got my ice to me it was cold...oh wait ...never mind.
