Question for all SOS/BOS

After the first year's overly enthusiastic searchers caused such mayhem, I think they went back to common sense, since as you say, anything can be a weapon, and there is a tire iron in every trunk. A discussion point before was "no hammers" since we use hammers for tent pegs. They reportedly were banning claw hammers only. Rubber mallets were OK, too. Mine is as hard as steel, but OK.

So I brought some tools but brought old ones that if they didn't pass. I could walk away from them. Stripped put things like the pocketknife in the glove box and the utility knife in the tool box, but not screwdrivers, etc. I wouldn't carry a baseball bat.

Part of the glass rule is because this is a horse farm, so I get it. However, a tabasco bottle can't break, practically speaking.

If they take something, it goes to a lost and found and you can pick it up Monday--but that could cost you in your exit timing. Speaking of which, exit from RV hill was a monumental disaster and took a couple hours; hopefully they will address and fix it (like they did for entering). And note that they don't let us leave when the school buses are running.
