what kind of vendor food is there?

I thought the food was really good and reasonable--and I like good quality food. Lots of variety and interesting food; healthy options like salads, not just pizza and funnel cakes and "state fair" fare. You can see the vendor list from last year on the website I think. Price points were around $6 with a range $4-10, IIRC?

The food at the venue was mostly set up in a big tent and even when it was crowded there was room to find a place to eat--mostly stand-up. of course you could always sit outside, too.

When there were lines, they moved quickly; the vendors knew the drill. All very tolerable.

Lots of beer choices. It was fairly expensive but it was also "craft beer" so the price wasn't bad for what you got where you are. VIP gets a discount on beer. I didn't price the basic pale yellow American.

There were also food trucks in the shake down area but I didn't eat there, but they looked good and again, good variety and reasonable prices.

There was at least one coffee truck but I can't speak to other breakfast options; I was cooking my neighbors bacon and fried egg sandwiches to compensate for my snoring. also didn't do any late night.

I brought a lot of food and planned to cook, both to avoid spending too much or just having fastfestfood, but found I liked eating what they had. Great Aussie meat pies! Also there were a lot of people cooking in the tent areas so you might end up sharing; I didn't see people trying to sell their food but they may have been in GA camping.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised and happy with that aspect. I hate feeling like a captive audience being ripped off, and Lockn' wasn't that way at all.

I ate at the food trucks last year. A staple after the main stage was done was jasmine rice and Thai style veggies. About $8 if I remember correctly and very good. Not all the food trucks were open for breakfast but the ones that were had some decent food and coffee.
