If we are going to up min wage I'll fight for the Vet first.

True. When I was an E4 I had to work a second job in order to have a very meager savings account.

but Fry Boy will never get free and excellent healthcare with unlimited paid sick leave. Fry boy won't get a housing allowance. Fry Boy won't get three excellent meals a day for free. Fry Boy won't get thirty days paid leave or a chance to see the world. fry Boy won't get the GI Bill to send him back to grad school. Fry Boy won't get excellent healthcare from the VA for decades after he leaves Micky Ds. Fry Boy won't get a VA loan to buy his first house with little down payment. Fry Boy won't get months of high quality technical training. I'll stop now.

Thanks for bumping the thread Waycha, my feelings haven't changed in the slightest.

Spent the morning wrenching on my truck, this afternoon we had a cookout and lots of family in from all over VA, and tomorrow I'm going fishing with some buddies. Feels like summertime now.

Maybe Fry Boy will take some time today to consider that. Or maybe he wants to move up the ladder & have his own store someday. My intent was not to insult anyone & what they chose to do in life, were all in this together. And the people in the trenches carrying 100# of equip. getting shot at & sometimes coming home in a box. And when he dose get home has to try to make ends meet. But boy oh boy if you stick whit it the benefits are great & well deserved. Thank-you for your service Endless Summer, don't stop you worked for it. And thanks to all the others out there. Hope a lot of them get to be home to enjoy a burger & dog.
