Schedule
Wow is all I can say. To me, at least, this is the best lineup this summer...and I couldn't honestly put Lockn over it. I'm not driving up to CT for it, but sure as hell wish I could.

That's a pretty good lineup, but nowhere near as good as Lockn, in my opinion.

But not too bad--do the bands play at the same time on different stages? I really like the single act/dual stage set-up at lockn

That's one hell of a lineup. A few bands on there I would love to see. But for my likes & taste Lockn' is a lock for me. Pun intended. I've seen so many great festival lineups that if for some reason I couldn't have done Lockn' it would be hard to chose which festival I would do.Schedule

Some great acts but strange scheduling. I agree with smosey about the side by side stages. It is what drew me to marvins mountaintop and what continues to please me at lockn.
You would have to pay me to go back to bonnaroo simply because of all the scheduling conflicts. It is like going on vacation with an itinerary. .... wait. It is exactly that!

Yeah, I wasn't intentionally trying to compare it to Lockn' but thought that lineup looked stellar. I also agree I'd rather have the stage next to each other than staggered like other fests.
Also the only two Fests that have Strangefolk.

Actually, I don't like or dislike, but it's now a tradition around here. To me, they just take up stage space but they are not annoying. Now, Phil Collins....

Going to be hitting vibes for the Saturday this year for Billy, Warren & Seaside Allstars, Warren and RRE, Kung Fu, and more. Did the same last year for Umph, Panic, and the biscuits with the rhythm devils. Id say vibes has probably the third best line up of the year. 2nd being peach, and first is obvious.

Jambase pulled the story as did a couple others until they get the Vibes' side of it, now called "Suing of the Vibes".
But it's over $500,000 that Vibes allegedly owes the city for police overtime from the last couple of shows. Vibes said they were going dark for 2016 returning in 2017 but that was last November. No comment from Vibes as of yet.

They were really the first modern-day fest, even though Roo is what propelled fests into the public consciousness. Losing them is bad news for fest culture in general.

Someone told me they are going to be back next year at a new location. Don't know if that's bs or not though..
