if you want to see an interesting act, try these guys. They have played all over the U.S. and Europe, from little bars with tiny audiences to touring with ZZ Top in Europe as the opening act. They seem to play almost every night somewhere, and tour in a beat up van. Just three guys, with probably ten instruments that are either home made or thrift store finds.
This guy below is the only known musician on earth who plays a psychedelic electric wash board with effects pedals. The bass player has a home made wash tub bass with one yard-trimmer string and a stick. The guitar guy plays a nice little homemade cigar box type gem.
i've seen them play in front of 20 people, and in front of thousands. They seem to display the same amount of fun and energy in either setting. Hard driving blues with zero pretensions.
