I want to be near my car so I purchased car camping. However, I have a very large 1r person tent and like extra room to spread out. Can I purchase another car camping pass and get two spots or will they still have someone park right beside me. Am I better off just going to the woods?

I'm Sure youll be ok in car camping, most folks have room for a canopy of some sort and tent or two.
One thing is make sure to set up as soon as you arrive and stake your claim.

going to the woods is not an option.
I don't know ho w tight they pack them in GA but in VIP car camping there were usually a space open between campers, unless they came in together and combined. GA looked tight.
But anyway there's plenty of room on your pad for a car, 1 person tent and 10x10. Hint: put your tent under the 10x10 to block morning sun, and be mindful of the compass points when you set up.
