Any other solo travels? First time going to Lockn' festival

though I can't help with transportation, I went solo last year and loved it. I did have a horde of friends and family but they were not camping near me and we didn't hang together the whole time. I made friends with the people camping near me (hint: lure them in by cooking bacon in the morning) and found the people there easy to hang out with. Very friendly crowd.

I was solo last year and this year also. It was my first fest of this kind. Traveled from Utah. Met lots of good peeps. Boogied my ass off! And I'm in my 50's. Camped in the forest. Picked a spot and my neighbor cracked me a beer and helped me set up my tent. Then we smoked a bowl! Welcome to the Family! See you in the forest!!!

Hey man, my name is Tyler. I will also be riding solo at Lockn. I bought one ticket for me with no one to go with haha. None of my friends can afford a ticket now. Not that this is a problem. I have gone to festivals alone before and made tons of friends, but it's always more fun to have someone to kick it with. With a lineup like that, I was determined to go with or without anyone else, haha!

I live in DC and I will probably be driving to Lockn late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. I saw on another post that you may need a ride from the airport. When do you fly in? Which airport?

I have a 4 day, full event, tent camping pass that allows me to camp by my vehicle. You are welcome to camp with me too if you want. Maybe we can even split a case of beer, a bottle, etc? Haha

We are coming out from Park City and this will be our 2nd Lockn.  Doing the VIP thing again, and so looking forward to it...

Skate and Tyler DC, I'd be interested in talking with y'all. I fly into Charlottesville on Wednesday morning from California. I am solo this year for much of the festival, and have little ground support. I am just exploring my options at this point. I can certainly pay my way (gas, beer, etc.) and I am a whole bunch of fun.
