same. i'm from richmond. plus the whole "no glass" thing makes it hard. so many micro brews bottle their beer. maybe i'll include some of my favorite lesser known imports that come in a canI'd be in for a meetup to trade local brews but with the caveat that anything local to me is likely to be available at the festival itself. I mean I'd try to show up w/ something a little more exotic than Grateful Pale Ale.

I gotta get a metal growler. The glass ban is preventing me from bringing the Pliny The Elder clone I'm working on. I did actually bring some homebrew last year, but I wound up breaking it out and sharing it with the people in line, just to try to keep everyone hydrated.

I was at a store today and they had plastic 2 liters that they are know filling instead of glass bottles. Ask at you local beer supplier

Well folks i just discovered the Lockn proboards today.Glad to join all of you on this long strange trip.I have been to 12 of the 13 Bonnaroo Music Festivals and have to say I have never been as excited as I am now for Lockn 2014!If anyone has any questions on how to survive a 4 day camping festival feel free to ask or message me.I like to think I may have picked up a little knowledge over the years.

Welcome Staggerlee64. 12 Bonnaroo's, you must love the heat. This may seem small compared to the 80-90 thousand they get there but I've done some great Bonnaroo's & I like the Lockn' lineup & the less people. What other festivals have you done?

As far as festivals go,only Bonnaroo.I'm fortunate to have it basically in my backyard,only 45 minutes or so from Chattanooga.I was turned on to Lockn by a friend in Ohio.After checking it out,there is no doubt in my mind that this is where it's at!I'm a Deadhead from the moment I first heard the band play.Easily 300+ shows under my belt(Dead,JGB,Phil & Friends,Bob&Ratdog & Further combined).Gonna make the drive from Chattanooga to Ohio,then to Lockn.Looks a gruelling 17 hour drive,but the musical reward will absolutely justify the journey!Bonnaroo is a great festival....but the roots of the event got lost along the way.Essentially it started as a Jamband fest and morphed into some sort of mish mosh of Eletronica,Rap,and Hip Hop with some Jambands thrown in as an afterthought.THIS is what turns me on about Lockn.None of that distracting noise,just great Rock-n-Roll!

Hello everyone. Can't wait for lockn,went solo last year. Looks like I'll be solo this year too.
Had a blast last year and intend to do the same this year. Great vibes from all of my neighbors in car camping 1. Except for the chick who started throwing chairs and up-rooting tents one morning.
Love being able to ride my bike around, Makes a huge difference.
