Is there a list of items that are prohibited from being brought into the camping area. I read somewhere that they search your car. What are they searching for..
Should I my put my wine into plastic bottles to bring in is my main question??

No glass. No knives. No weapons. Definitely bring the wine in something other than glass bottles.

Let's put a new spin on this thread: What's the ONE camping item you can't do without? Any tips to make the camping experience better?
Here's one:
They sell interlocking (HA!) 2 feet X 2 feet foam squares at Sams for about 20 bucks--put those in the bottom of your tent. They protect the floor of your tent, and if water leaks in it will usually stay under the foam, unless you pitched your tent in a river.

More important is ample beer and liquor, but I was trying to think of more actual camping things

I truly believe that if every single person at Lockn brought rain gear it wouldn't rain a drop...Comfortable foot wear

U can bring candles. Why not? Big incense sticks. Tarp. Big fuzzy ugg boots. A hat. Ear plugs? A stuffed animal?

As for non essentials... I picked up a couple of sets od multicolored LED lights that screw onto the valves of our bike
tires. They are pretty special. As for the bikes hey are a must.

Someone had to play security guard. Maybe you meant candles, but you obviously have to sit and enjoy them or don't bother, as with incense. I was also thinking a citronella effect. Bring solar lights or those battery powered candles as a non flammable option. I doubt incense sticks have burst into flames, never mind a handy tarp. But really I said candles because they weren't prohibited so I am not surprised someone had to mention it. Don't forget your plastic knives and your e cigs!
