Main Stage - Where to go for the best sound?

generally I think you are right on, but Tom Petty was a little bit fuzzy everywhere.

It all sounds pretty good, the area just in front of the rear speakers is kind of no mans land in regards to the sound unless they put speakers facing the stage on the back speakers - which can create problems as well.

I always go next to the soundboard, I feel it's always the most consistent.

I liked positioning my chair almost at the back center but a tad to the right where I had a good view of both stages which wasn't difficult. My main goal was to sit back far enough so that I was clear of the masses. It was nice and open and great for people watching.
