Car is 90 percent packed! Wrapping up the office, putting last-minute things together, and heading south!!!! We planned this from the first week. Had no idea what the weather or timing would be like, so we gave ourselves a few days to make it from Downstate NY to VA. Heading first towards Richmond for a couple nights then onwards to Arrington.

So giddy, can barely pack. Good thing we've prepped so much beforehand and took in a couple other fests. I can't believe today is finally here!
We're headed to see a couple friends and chill at the Omni Richmond (indoor pool!). We wanted to start our vacation a couple days early just in case of an unexpected nightmare (who wants to be stuck with a borked car on the way?) As it is we'll have our laptops for that leg. Freelancing gives you great freedom to travel more than an office job, but we occasionally take a hit time-wise. But hey, working by the pool isn't all that bad!
We're hititing the makeshift VIP campground Wednesday night. When they first announced the pre-party there was no in/out with cars, but we'll see if we can make it now. We're also taking our drums with us in hopes there'll be some jamming at the pre-camp.
CAN.NOT.WAIT.TO.LEAVE!

Safe travels...t-minus 2 days for me...I'm going to have to get some Lunestra just in order to sleep the next two nights!!!

So about 24 hours after waking up and hitting the road we finally made it to our Richmond stopover. Roadtrips!
