I am a Lockn Newbie and doing VIP--Anybody have any idea when and where the VIP Welcome BBQ is, as well as the Sunday brunch.
also is there a place we get the free Sodas/Waters and late night munchies?

In VIP rent. Late night tent shows are for SVIP only. I can't cemember what time the Thursday BBQ starts, but I want to say around 1400. "Late" night snack starts at ten or eleven each night and Sunday brunch I want to say 10 or 11.I am a Lockn Newbie and doing VIP--Anybody have any idea when and where the VIP Welcome BBQ is, as well as the Sunday brunch.

BBQ is Thursday afternoon, brunch is Sunday mid-morning - early afternoon. Last year CID sent an email asking everyone to RSVP with the time they plan to attend the brunch, haven't gotten any email like that this year as of yet. Both meals, drinks & snacks are in the VIP tent which is inside the show field grounds. SVIP & VIP tents aren't on the map yet.

Got my email on the SVIP & I'm sure the BBQ & bunch will be the same. BBQ Thursday 3 pm to 8 pm & Sunday brunch 10 am to 3 pm.

Looks like based on the recent map emailed to me the vip/svip tent is now on the other side of the field.
LOUNGE HOURS:
Thursday: 3 PM - 2 AM
Friday: 11 AM - 2 AM
Saturday: 11 AM - 2 AM
Sunday: 10 AM - 1 AM
WELCOME BBQ
The Welcome BBQ will take place in the VIP Lounge on Thursday from 3 PM – 8 PM.
SUNDAY BRUNCH:
The Sunday Brunch will be served from 10 AM – 3 PM in the VIP Lounge.
Late-Night Munchies:
Late night munchies will be offered in the VIP lounge from 11 PM – 2 AM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 11 PM – 1 AM on Sunday night.

Also there is a booth in the vip viewing area that you can grab waters etc..

The VIP Lounge (a big white tent) is back behind the central vending area, behind the show field. At least it was last year.

this year looks like on the opposite side, though; closer to steeplechase (vip hill) and where chug-point Charlie was. I liked it up on the hill some last year for viewing from there.
I have not received an email or anything about RSVP for the brunch like they did last year (missed the BBQ). Maybe it didn't work out. I didn't follow my plan at all.
