hey there kind folks. a buddy of mine who was planning roll down with us in our RV early Thursday just found out that a project he is working on will deploy next week and it will keep him home until mid-day Friday. He is planning on rolling down as soon as he can in his car but would like to avoid buying a $80 tent only pass just for the parking space.

He is hoping to find a place to stash his car for a few days and then bike onto the site. He can bike pretty far if need be. Does anyone know of such a place?

on site he is staying in our RV so all he needs is a place to leave his car. Saw those 4 day car passes but thought they were for day pass people and folks staying at hotels and what not. figured they would clear out the lot each night. Is that not the case? If he could leave his car there for 3 days that would be great.

try the usual routes, e-mail and facebook, see if they'll answer that question. if not, i'd have your friend go to the box office when he arrives. i bet they'll be able to answer his question. as for a backup, i can't really help you. sounds like the local walmarts aren't parking friendly anymore, but that could be a last resort. he might be able to get away with it.

Thanks for the help. Was hoping Walmart might be an option. Didn't know they weren't parking friendly anymore or at least around Arrington.. That was the most redeeming thing about them.

I had the 4 day parking pass and had n no problems leaving the car there.
