Despite the answer staring me in the face, I can't find info on what time to arrive on Thursday. Can anyone help out?

The gates open at dawn (or thereabouts). As for what time to arrive, no one truly knows that but you.

So... any time after the sun says hello? We camped out on-site in Year 1 and got a bad start last year---so have no idea what the morning will be like. Friends are driving in from Ohio in the morning, so telling them to get there earlier than they need to is kinda bad form.

Last year was MUCH smoother than 2013. The word Lockn themselves use is "dawn." Last year there was a little hurry up and wait after the sun came up, but we were in within the hour.
I'd say between 6 and 7.
