Don't know most of those, but I'm certainly no expert. Would like to see Bernie Worrell and Tauk (again). I bet the rest is fun, too. Unfortunately, Lockn broke my bank. Will be on Ramen for a while...

Mantrabash is Jeff Approved! Awesome fest in an awesome location. Really good lineup.You will not be disappointed if you go.

I just noticed that Bernie Worrell is sitting in with the Mantras for a "Talking Dead" set. Is that what I think it is? Talking Heads/Grateful Dead set? That could be awesome beyond description.
sneake you should check out the Mantras. They rock. Consider the Source are all reaaly good musicians and have a cool sound. Ozric Tentacles are English space rock. After that they are mostly NC bands. BIG Something are one of my favorite bands playing these days. So very good. REALLY bummed I'm not going to see them at Halloween like I have for the last 3 or 4 years but I've never seen JRAD and it's the same night. But that is the only reason. The Fritz are young and funky. The Broadcast are fronted by Caitlin Krisko who has a big voice. She was an artist at large at the last Camp Barefoot. ELM used to be Segway fromm B'more I think. They play Barefoot every year.
I also noticed that there are no directions how to get there on www.mantrabash.com. None. I know where it is but apparently you need to be in the know to attend.

Yep, that's exactly where it is and it is a great location. It's totally lame that the website for the festival doesn't tell you where the festival is. Word to the wise if you have a trailer or are not used to driving on precarious dirt mountain roads. Come into it from the south taking S Goforth Rd or Lewis Fork Baptist Church Rd off of 421 then to Rom Eller Rd then to Mt Zion RD. DO NOT take 421 all the way to Mt Zion Rd like Maps tells you to. Trust me on this one.
