Was waiting for the Lumni tickets to go on sale but all plans got put aside last Sat when Joanne fell & shattered her upper leg. Surgery Sunday to put a rod & 7-9 pins to fix it. Moved her to rehab yesterday. Nothing is as important as my Baby, although Lockn' is way up there. She already says I'm going. Just have to wait it out. I do SVIP & must say despite this years set back I think Lockn' did a great job to make it a great experience. Just can't beat Saturday's lineup but I bet they try. Well time to get back to taking care of 4 dogs, 5 cats, bird, fish & house so I can go spend time with my better half.
So sorry about your tragedy. I hope she has a full recovery without complications. I've been in a very similar situation and advise you to take extra special caution for your self. One week into our crisis I got laid up too. Leaving our then 15 yo fairer to take care of both us and the farm.

Ticket purchased. Cherry, I'm sad to hear you won't be there. You were one of the highlights of my weekend last year. Waycha, you, too, man. For anyone that is afraid they won't be able to sell their ticket if they change their mind, DO NOT. It was annoying how many people posted requests for Lumni priced tickets.
Glad to see so many of my favorite people making plans already. Sue and Nick, we're definitely camping together again next year. I like Nick's idea of a mini compound. We should get several of our site lined up. Would be a lot of fun.

Tickets purchased this morning. Is it really 333 days until...? The mini compound sounds interesting. Maybe we could get one going in GA tent-only, too (?).

I set my countdown for September 8, 2016 at 4 pm EST because that's when the music starts. What's the official take on that 4 pm or 6 am when they start letting us in?

Help me out here, I understand you get your lumni tix at a big discount. So this is just the entry ticket? What about camping? Do you choose and pay at a later date? How does this work...?

Correct. This is just the ticket. Camping will go on sale later. I waited until August to buy my camping for 2015. My friends I regret that I will not be able to attend in 2016; my daughter is getting married so I'll be doing the daddy of the bride thing (ie extra shifts at the Cumberland mine). I probably won't be as active on this board, either, when things heat up more geared toward the event, but I'll stay in touch.
And maybe see some of you at other events. Be well.
