So I changed the photo from the winter shot I had in my favorite hat and covered with snow. It's usually a pretty happy time for me. I have replaced it with a crop of myself from a photo at LOCKN. I was so happy there and I like the reminder. As I've said previously , my foray back into festivals started at the Gathering of the Vibes. I would have paid just for the atmosphere let alone the music. I heard about LOCKN at GOTVibes and the line up was the draw however I hoped for the same atmosphere. I was not disappointed!

The way I relay it is , for example, despite all of the issues , I heard/saw people begin to lose it and pull themselves back to a positive place feeling assured that once they were in all would be well. The spoken and unspoken agreement of literally thousands of people to be kind and enjoy, truly enjoy 3-4 days together is hard to relay. Btw police reports for both venues back this up will very few incidents and even those were minor for the most part. I'm so glad Ive had these experiences and hope for more! It is really incredible that humans can accomplish this if even for just a few days - I'll take it!

But think about the real people you hurt by insulting customers of lockn who truly believe they got an unfair deal, rather than insisting lockn is the best happy meal you ever head even when it's missing the fries. Yes it's great that people get to do their thing at a fest but people are getting hurt there by not getting a fair deal. Love, peace, kindness and happiness should be the norm, not an experience that makes someone rich. Super VIP, VIP, camping passes, etc, even I got sucked in and wanted a lumni ticket.

I like the idea of festivals and usually it's a good deal for several days of camping and music. I even specifically wanted lockn because it was 4 days but I lost one. And it's not cool. I don't get how lockn turns into a mythological creature rather than just a fest but I know the devil has been in the works and it drives me crazy.

I tried to get into the mind of a deep fest fan. I think I realize one angle, until all wounds have healed, positivity is a blessing and a curse. Like yeah, that was great barbecue sandwich, I had no idea it was made out of a human.

Look, if you think you're entitled to a refund, you should contact Lockn via email or CID if you were VIP. It's my understanding that some folks actually got refunds, but I have no idea if it's too late to apply for one. We're a fan forum, and cannot help with these matters in any official capacity.
