I was looking on eBay for some GD stickers for Christmas stockings and noticed a lot of Steal your face stickers that say his name. On the skull part of the symbol is "Bernie Sanders" hair style. I'll try a post a pic later.

That's actually kind of awesome and I want one. I don't think there is any official connection. My best guess is that he represents Socialist ideas, and there is big support for those ideas in the young and liberal demographics.
