DON'T FORGET! December 31, 2015, is also the deadline for our annual FLOYDFEST ALUMNI PROGRAM. Initiated in 2015, FF Alumni membership is as easy as purchasing tickets annually prior to the December 31 deadline, to receive rewards including:
Frozen ticket prices through 2019! (Purchasing now automatically places you on a special FF Alumni mailing list. Your ticket pricing will remain the same as you currently see for four more years, even as prices to the general public increase!)
Annual pre-purchase window allowing FF Alumni first-crack at high-demand ticket options like Premium Woodsy Camping and X-Spot Parking (as well as other AtWP events!)
Annual Alumni Ball in November, with free admission to a concert by a FloydFest featured performer!
Discounts on FloydFest merchandise and at the FloydFest General Store onsite
Commemorative "A Tribe Called FloydFest" bumper sticker

I really like the first-crack at high-demand ticket options.
A free alumni ball would be somewhat similar to the shows included this year for TTB and Leon Russel.
The option I personally would like to see is early entry (Wed. night) into the festival. I would pay for this, but if it came for Alumni that would be great too.

The festival market is crowded and competitive but since Vibes and Wakarusa are out this year, AllGood took a hiatus in 2014, I worry a market shake-out would give producers more pricing power.

Not sure how much of a benefit this is going to actually be.. The FloydFest crowd is pretty stable and largely affluent. IF they all take adavantage of this, and why wouldn't they, then you are going to have samenumber of people getting the first-crack at those limited number of high-demand tickets and camping spots. But maybe.
The price freeze is a benefit. If you are going to go anyways then why not utilize this.
What happens if I take both?

I really have no idea how many people purchase tickets through the alumni option. If it is 80%, then you are right, very limited benefit. If it is only 20%, that is a bigger benefit.
Of course we like our tent-only GA camping, which doesn't have much demand, so...
