I posted in here, I believe just before Lockn 2014, that I had a dream involving Keller Williams playing "Shady Grove." I believe that was the first time it happened. Somehow over the last 15 months I've had the song Shady Grove show up in my dreams about 5 different times. All sung by different musicians. Not sure why it keeps appearing. Anyway...

Shady grove has been stuck in my head since I first heard the pizza tapes as a youngn'. Much worse songs to be stuck in your head, or dreams. So many great versions out there.
While we are talking about doc and Keller I would like to mention the awesome cover Keller did of Tennessee stud when I saw him back in October. It was amazing, that is all.

I pulled up spotify on my phone this morning to play some tunes while working. Started the discover weekly playlist and what song showed up. .... shady grove off of pizza tapes.
Is spotify turning into spyify or us jerry trying to tell us something?

trust me jeff, i listen to doc's version weekly or so and love it. i hadn't heard the pizza tapes version in awhile though.
