I didn't buy my Lockn' 2015 ticket until almost last minute, so unfortunately I missed the TTB and Leon Russell concerts at Oak Ridge that were exclusively for Lockn' ticket holders.

For those that were able to go to either/both, what was your overall take on it? Did it go over well and does it seem like something they will continue with this year?

I guess ultimately it would depend on whether the powers that be could determine how many additional tickets were sold by hosting said events.

I went to both shows and they were amazing! TTB well what can you say. Had a special feeling knowing that this was the first show at this venue and it was free to Lockn ticket holders. Seeing Leon Russell up close was awesome. His voice sounded great that night. Plus we got to hang with Sneake and buddy74 so that was cool. Some had said these shows were presented to test the logistics of the venue and to make them ABC regulated zones. Well that didn't happen. All I know is when Gov't. Mule played late night, in the rain, and we were able to take our coolers in well all bets were off at that point. Don't know if or how much these shows increased ticket sales but I hope that they do this again, basically home town shows for me. I wouldn't be surprised to see some more permanent stages built this year kind of like at FloydFest.

On another note my camera doesn't usually take good night shots and Leon was especially hard to shoot because he was dressed in all white but I thought that this shot came out OK.
