I've been on this forum for 2 years & WOW 1,000 posts. OK now I get a little sentimental & sappy. First I would like to thank our moderators, present, Dylan & Sneake for creating this forum, maintaining it, putting things in place, updating the countdown & header & all their input to keep things moving.
Thanks to past moderator Worf for moving & correcting things & his sometimes emotional & argumental but always civil posts. He also kept us civil. He would come down on some of our posts & it made me think & learn.
Thanks to everyone who posts in here for all the info that helps a lot of people & me. A lot of opinions & sometimes way out posts. The one thing everyone dose in the end is respect each other. I like what they had on Lockn's facebook a couple of weeks ago, "It's amazing the number of great people in my life I wouldn't have ever met if it wasn't for music." Some of you I've met & hugged & some you I got to know thru the forum. I had a guy that came up to my camp last year & we got to talking to find out he was a lurker on this forum & he recognized me from my flag. That was way cool.
I love the festival not only for the great music but for all the like minded people & this forum & it's members that have made this a great adventure.

Thanks for all the good vibes. Well here I am at post 1001 & just glade to be alive. Started my chemo a couple of weeks ago & was in for treatment this Wednesday. That's going in at 7:30 getting your port tapped, taking labs, go see the doc & read the lab report, which were very good this week, then go in for treatment & out at 3:00 to 3:30. Well after all the other things they pump into you they started the chemo drug. I fell asleep as I often do & woke up needing to go pee. So I start looking for my nurse when I started to feel like I was going to get sick. By this time I started to wave my hand in the air while my body started to burn up. My nurse turned around & I heard her go oh my god. By this time my skin was turning bright red & I was losing consciousness. I could here them saying his blood pressure is dropping fast & his heart is racing. They put a mask on me because I having a hard time breathing. I ended up in ICU where I heard the sweet voice of my wife Joanne & knew everything was going to be alright. So i got home from the hospital this afternoon feeling like normal. My main point is this is why I celebrate each & every day. As they tell me The chemo remembered my body back from 2012 & my body remembered the chem & they got into a big fight. Just goes to show that when 2 sides have a fight it's the ones around it that get hurt. So back home with Joanne & all our kids, dogs cats bird & fish, & everything is just OK. Oh & my Dead & Co ticket was here. Love ya all & can't wait for Lockn'.

Sorry you had such a rough day, but glad you're back home with your family. Nice to have you back on here.

Yea it was a rough patch / day & it's comforting to know the family is thinking of you. The strange thing is #1 I was worried about Joanne because I knew they had to call her & still being in a wheel chair she would need & ride. I wanted her to be strong & she was. #2 I remember Sneake saying his sister is going thru chemo. I hope she never goes thru this. But I went thru chemo in 2012 & my body & the drug they used remembered each other & did't like it so she will be OK. #3 I really felt bad for the people around me doing chemo. Your in a large room lined with recliners with small TV's in front of you. So there is a lot of people with family or friends there. The last thing they need to see is what I went thru & I never saw it before. I'll be back in a couple of weeks so I hope they see I'm still strong & ready to go. Joanne stayed with me on my 1st treatment & observed that the people doing chemo seemed happy & carefree & the friend or family that was with them looked liked the gloomy ones. Life is too precious to piss away for any reason. 179 days to go for Lockn' & I'm ready!!!
