Blue Ox Music Festival

Looks like it should be a good one. Whiskey Shivers is playing in our county music festival (Blue Grass Valley Music Fest.) in August two weeks prior to Lockn.

Wow, outstanding line-up. I'm not seeing Love Canon though, so I'm afraid that's a deal breaker.

If you haven't seen Shovels & Rope yet it might be your new favorite band. I hope they get a Lockn' set.

That's a great lineup! Not knowing what The Festy is going to do this year, if that was just 1 travel day closer, I'd consider it.

Although it is months and months away before the traditional Festy date of early Oct I would say that it is looking bleak for that happening this year.

But I also thought that there was buzz about it before the lineup. So far this year the only buzz has been that it Devils Backbone is hosting their own festival on what was Festy weekend and that Festy if it happens won't happen there.

I hope they find a good place (cough cough Blue Ridge Bowl cough cough) and put on a festival that suits them. I think the amount of work and stress they want to put in to it is less than what Festy had become.
