Pink Moon Festival V is located at Pinky's Farm in Rock Camp, West Virginia. It is September 12-15 (the weekend following Lockn') and we are offering camping deals for those who would like to attend Pink Moon after Lockn'. If anyone would like to come and camp the week after Lockn' and before Pink Moon, we are offering $10 camping passes. Festival tickets are $40 pre-sales. Orange Blossom Jamboree is coming up in May in Brooksville, FL. Small festie with a real family feel. Loads of local talent and some up and comings. Also the Florida Folk Festival with JJ Grey and Mofro and Albert Castiglia. That's Memorial Day Weekend. Both are easy on the budget.

People can you feel it? Love is everywhere!

This year is they're third year. It's called Grand Point North ticket prices aren't bad. This festival is in Burlington Vermont.

Any excuse to hang out in VT is a good one.

And Festy Experience is a really fun time right across the ridge from Lockn in Nelson Co. It is the Infamous Stringdusters fest. This will be the 5th year. We've gone to the last 3. Beautiful camping in early Oct in the VA mountains. Hard to beat.

I'll echo the Festy promo. Last year was my first time and i'm hooked. My kids loved it, too. With no disrespect to any of the bands on the bill, I do like quite a few of them, I'd call the lineup good enough. Contrasts with Lockn in that regard. Its all about the experience at Festy and they clearly put the money and thought into exactly that. What they do with(out) the cups is brilliant. The lack of trash should be an inspiration and goal for every fest.

Bear Creek is at the same venue as Wanee in Nov. It is the most funk oriented festival held at SOSMP. Often referred to as Brrr Creek because it can get right chilly even in FL> If you have never been to SOSMP you really owe it to yourself to check out one of the festivals that are held there. I guess if you are from FL it isn't all that but for me it is a magical place.The Mushroom Stage there is one of the best venues I've ever been to. Car camp wherever you want, excluding the designated camping spots that are for rent. No rules on bottles and bring your own golf cart if you want.
