Actually they did have beer/wine sales in VIP, just a limited selection. Now pissers in VIP..there's an idea!!!just put a beer tent in vip

It would be nice if everyone followed the rule of chairs only behind the soundboard. It makes it hard to get anywhere up front when you have to zig-zag your way through lines of chairs all zip tied together.they also need to create a no-chairs allowed walkway circling around behind the ADA platforms near the second level of speakers for better flow from one stage to the other.

I like the idea of the new stage. It's interesting to see the changes they make every year.

That would make mounting your bearer easier.It w. ill be interesting to see how they reconfigure the layout for the turntable stage. However it is I see it as being an improvement for GA and the VIP area getting smaller if it remains in the middle like the last two years. Or they could put the GA back in the middle and split the VIP on the ends (hope not). Ideally they could stack the VIP section over top of the GA viewing area and we could both be centered on the stage. Of course beer spillage from the VIP above could be a problem for the GA below but I guess that is what raincoats are for.
Cuious to find out what announcements are going to make people "freak out".

Dave, what is the deal with family camping? Why was it not offered in the beginning?
Dave, what is up with the student tickets? When and where will they be available?
So Dave will the shoulder ride pickup location be in the same spot as last year? Will they still be free? How can we get more GA to participate in the shoulder rides? Should we make it mandatory for all GA to participate or do we continue to depend on the volunteers? Since there will be a two-tiered viewing area due to the turntable stage does it make sense to meet your bearers at the end of the platform as you leave?
How will the viewing area be different due to the addition of the turntable stage?
Who is the artist to be announced that is going to freak people out?

The email that Lockn' sent out today confirms that they are selling well as I thought. And yes Worf the term "classic rock" make me nervous. You never know what they mean, but I think that Pete & Dave seem to have the minds for good classic rock. Bring them on.
