Except we don't go to concerts. We go to shows. When I hear someone talk about going to a concert I assume they aren't talking the same language. But substitute show for concert and largely correct.

pretty good article. i dont agree with the setlist thing though. i don't really ever go to a show prepared. just let that shit happen

Don't get it either. Every band I see plays different songs or in a different order each night. I read previous concert's--oops show's--setlists to get excited about what they might play, maybe to find a song I don't know, or for old bands, the balance of old v new songs.
From DSO shows I got in the habit of writing down the set list as the show goes on, to help me remember what I heard and to share with others.
